Yuletide recs.
Happy Yuletide! Just a few random recs from all the fun little fandoms!

Fandom: Stigmata
Pairing: Frankie Paige/Andrew Kiernan
Title: your hands can heal
Author: Anon
Link: http://archiveofourown.org/works/2820557
Rating/Warning(s): PG, spoilers for the film.
Word Count/WIP?: 3,245/Complete.

Why This Must Be Read: I have deep, silly love for this film. Moreover, I have deep, true love for late 90's-era Patricia Arquette and Gabriel Byrne. This is a what-happens-after and is such a fun, light lovely thing that I want to bounce around and show it to everyone. I love the idea that Frankie's life continues in such a different way and that Andrew kind of happily wanders after.

Fandom: Enchanted Forest Chronicles
Pairing: Cimorene/Mendanbar
Title: In Which Cimorene's Sister Comes to Call
Author: Anon
Link: http://archiveofourown.org/works/2805047
Rating/Warning(s): G, spoilers for the first two books.
Word Count/WIP?: 3,390/Complete.

Why This Must Be Read: Oh, this is fun. I love Cimorene and this was an absolutely lovely look at her relationship with one of her sisters. One thing I did think was missing from the books is that Cimorene was so young when she went off with her dragon that we never got to see the unreliable narrator bit about her and her family. No one is ever clear-eyed about their family at that age, and it's great to see Cimorene a bit down the road and how similar her sister was to her, but in a very different way. Also, Cimorene and Mendanbar were adorable as all get out!

Fandom: The Edge of Tomorrow/Live Die Repeat
Pairing: Rita Vrataski/William Cage
Title: can't play dead
Author: Anon
Link: http://archiveofourown.org/works/2728016
Rating/Warning(s): PG-13/reference to canon typical-violence.
Word Count/WIP?: 6,721/Complete.

Why This Must Be Read: I love this so hard. It's Rita, post-film having to deal with the fallout of the events before and after the film. It's wonderful because it weaves the cycles of the film in with the clean up. Also, I love Rita's voice in this and how conflicted she is about Cage; both with how her experiences weigh on her and how she is dealing with getting to know this person who's shared something so intimate but who she's never honestly met.

Hey! Great recs, but could you please tweak the title of this post? We have a standard format for multi-story posts, and we ask people to try to stick to that for the sake of consistency and easy browsing. All the details are on the community's profile page. Thanks!!
