Thanks (and a few modly notes)!

First off, blithers and I want to say how excited and thrilled we both are about the support and enthusiasm shown for het-reccers this month. We've been emailing back and forth near-daily, pinching ourselves about how fantastic this community is!

Thank you to everybody who has posted recs, commented on posts, clicked on recs (and left feedback for authors!), signed up to be a special reccer, and cheered this community on. This community is a truly awesome group of people, and we're both so honored to be a part of such a kickass group.

It's also been a delight to see new followers, likes, and reblogs over at the Tumblr mirror as well. We hope rec posts are reaching new people over there and that longtime reccers are finding it useful and fun. (For those who are interested, we currently have 115 followers—and counting!)

Second, a few quick mod-type notes/reminders. In addition to our format for posts, we have a format for titles that we ask people to use:

Single rec: Title by Author (Rating)
Multiple recs: Fandom, # of recs, pairing

As always, all information about how to make a post can be found on our profile page under "Reccing Format.” Feel free to ping either of us if anything is unclear!

Also, LJ user links (i.e. the < lj user = name > thing) don't look great on Tumblr, because the profile icon doesn't load automatically on people's dashboards and instead shows up as a giant grey box. This is not required, but we do recommend avoiding LJ user links in the future when making recs and using a normal hypertext link instead (< a href = link url >) when linking to a user.

THANK YOU again, everybody!

(And for those of you in the United States, which we are: Happy Thanksgiving!)
