Why This Must Be Read: Because after watching the series (season) 7 finale a second time I was inundated by so many feels for Eleven/Clara that beware this is the first rec of a few to come...as soon as I can find more. But this fic in particular showcases the tremendous emotion between the two (LOVE their chemistry btw) and while it isn't completely romantic, it's like beginnings of one, which is always my fave kind of fic to read about.
