Izzie comes back and faces the issues behind her leaving, stands beside her friends while they deal with the trauma, and patches up her marriage. Reason 2- Because Izzie is truly Alex's only exception, and this fic displays the hows and whys perfectly. Reason 3- Nobody writes this pairing like this author. Darley has written a frightening number of terrific Alex/Izzie fics, but i can't rec them all, unfortunately. So just check her profile and be awed by her talent.
