Why This Must Be Read:Author's description: She took it for granted that he would not die. For six years Anna has tried to get on with her life, to raise Christine and tried to forget about Nikolai. She was more successful with the former then she was with the latter, she has never been quite able to completely get him out of her thoughts for long. Then one day she learns of his death, and must make peace with that fact he is gone. That is until she receives a postcard in the mail. I loved this story because it is well written and there is a sense of passion between the lines that is just so satisfying.

Why This Must Be Read: This story takes place a year after the movie ends, when Anna and Nikolai meet again. What I loved about this fic as that Pampermousse keeps the gritty feel of the movie and keeps both Anna and Nikolai in character. Which makes for a entertaining story and leaves you wanting more.
