Yuletide 2012: Walking on Glass Floors by BlackEyedGirl (PG-13)

Fandom Category: Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
Pairing: Jordan McDeere/Danny Tripp
Fic Title: Walking on Glass Floors
Author: BlackEyedGirl
Link: Here
Rating/Warning(s): PG-13
Genre: Romance, Friendship, Post-series
WIP?: No

Why This Must Be Read: Given that it's a show that lasted only one season, realy good fics are hard to find, so I was happy to find that one had been written for this year's Yuletide. It's a beautiful look at Danny/Jordan post-series, something I would have loved to see if the show had continued. The day-by-day format really feels like watching an episode, and the characterization is just perfect.

Mods, can you please add tags for both fandom: studio 60 on the sunset strip and ship: jordan mcdeere/danny tripp? ;) (also, if there's a character limit for tag, just know that most of the time, the show is known as 'Studio 60' only)

Yuletide 2012: The Case of the Missing Martini Olive by icepixie (G)

Fandom Category: The Thin Man
Pairing: Nora Charles/Nick Charles
Fic Title: The Case of the Missing Martini Olive
Author: icepixie
Link:http://archiveofourown.org/collections/yuletide2012/works/588299
Rating/Warning(s): G
Genre: Domestic Fluff
WIP?: No

Why This Must Be Read: This story was perfect! It reads like a missing scene from one of the movies. The witty banter between Nora and Nick is spot on and the sheer fluffiness is just so delightful. So put on your silk pajamas, grab a martini, and go read this great story!
