Why This Must Be Read: Millicent makes for a delightful narrator, particularly her matter-of-fact assessment of her marriage prospects, in this short piece by florahart. The choice of Neville comes logically but with a certain fondness that clearly shows Millicent's preference. The conversation between our unlikely couple transitions from awkward to adorable as they figure out each other's motivation.

Why This Must Be Read: This story sizzles. It pairs a younger Pepper and Tony, free from the restraint of their later relationship, and shows us a hookup in the men's bathroom of a European dance club that might (or might not) have happened. It's well-written and astonishingly hot - I have a thing for stories which are realistic about sex, and let me just say that the lack of a condom in this story means a) there's no actual sex and b) you'll actually be grateful for that because it turns the story into something you might not have otherwise expected.
