teddy love

as it ever shall be, by acoastalshelf (pg-13 to R)

Fandom Category: Wizards of Waverly Place
Pairing: Justin Russo/Alex Russo
Fic Title: As it ever shall be
Author: acoastalshelf
Link: http://acoastalshelf.livejournal.com/361.html#cutid1
Rating/Warning(s): Parts 1-4 are T, Part 5 is R/light NC-17
Genre: Drama, Spiritual
WIP?: No.

Why This Must Be Read: I don't read fics of this fandom very often because most of it is Justin/Alex and while the pairing has some fantastic writers, I can't really get into incest.

However, this is a lovely because it has great characterization. The fic idea is pretty original and it explores what it would have been like if Justin and Alex met in different times and under different circumstances, and I've gotta say that it always remains faithful to the nature of their relationship i.e. their devotion to each other. It's far from perfect; I would have liked the writer to elaborate on some parts but it has its moments.

But, if you like the 'five things' sort of fics, if you like stories where the leads meet each other in different lifetimes and if you like satisfying endings, this it.

PS to mods: can I get tags for the pairing and the fandom :)?

five things that didn't happen in Red Eye by blushingsigh

Fandom Category: Red Eye
Pairing: Jackson Rippner/Lisa Reisert
Fic Title: five things that didn't happen in Red Eye
Author: blushingsigh
Link: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2627955/1/Five_things_that_didnt_happen_in_Red_Eye
Rating/Warning(s): T
Genre: General, Drama
WIP?: No.

Why This Must Be Read: Because let's face it, we've wondered how certain scenes would have played out in the movie and lucky us, so has blushingsigh. It's original and well written and it has some great use of second person narrative.

And I will end the entry, here: like the writer said about the five things that happened in the fic, 'Now before you decide not to read and review, aren't you a little curious about what they are?'
