two Terminator crossovers by apocalypsos (R)

Fandom Category: Firefly, Terminator (movieverse)
Pairing: Sarah Connor/Jayne Cobb
Fic Title: Our Passenger
Author: apocalypsos
Link: http://apocalypsos.livejournal.com/813033.html
Rating/Warning(s): R; past character death, sexual situations.
Genre: AU (for Terminator), character piece.
WIP?: nope.

Why This Must Be Read: One day a mysterious woman boards Serenity, as the author says and Jayne kinda likes her. Nicely done character piece for both Jayne and Sarah, as they strike a weird camaraderie and as Sarah continues to confuse Jayne with some of her actions.

Fandom Category: Supernatural, Terminator/Sarah Connor Chronicles
Pairing: Sarah Connor/John Winchester
Fic Title: In The Border Fires
Author: apocalypsos
Link: http://apocalypsos.livejournal.com/973433.html
Rating/Warning(s): R; language, sexual situations.
Genre: character piece, pre-series.
WIP?: nope.

Why This Must Be Read: Because, honestly, how obvious is this ship? A chance meeting at Enrique's, from the movies, compound leads to a fantastic short fic that perfectly crosses over these two universes.

Two Jaylee recs

Fandom Category: Firefly
Pairing: Jayne Cobb/Kaylee Frye
Fic Title: The thing about Jayne
Author: wily_one24
Link: http://community.livejournal.com/jaylee_ship/41253.html#cutid1
Rating/Warning(s): NC-17
Genre: Romance, sex
WIP?: One-shot

Why This Must Be Read: Told from Kaylee's POV this is Jacqui's version of a 10 minute fic, and as usual it hits all the right spots. Kaylee's no innocent here, and her look at Jayne's little quirks and her response to them is great. The small bites of scene we get are short and sharp, the sex is both well written and hot and the final line just makes the fic.

Fandom Category: Firefly
Pairing: Jayne Cobb/Kaylee Frye
Fic Title: Choices
Author: ladytalon1
Link: http://midnightatnoon.livejournal.com/37362.html#cutid1
Rating/Warning(s): PG
Genre: Romance
WIP?: One shot

Why This Must Be Read: Mal trying not to see what's happening before his very eyes is perfect. In 300 words the author paints a great picture of a relationship that's obviously going places even if the Captain doesn't want to acknowledge it.
