Well in The West Wing fandom this was just that story for me. This fic will just make you love Eleanor Bartlet and will redeem John Hoynes in any fan's eyes. Wedding, what wedding? Why This Must Be Read: The most heart-warming scene during HBP was Fleur Delacour standing up and declaring that she was going to stay with the man she loved no matter the consequences of Bill's werewolf attack. This fic shows the first full moon after those events as they wait to see what will happen to Bill; the Remus/Tonks side story is a great contrast showing the different points both couples are at.

This fic goes back in time a few years to Kate and Roman's wedding during the Salem Stalker storyline and takes a turn for the worse as Sami is stabbed by the masked villain. What makes this story a classic in the Days fandom is the changing point-of-view of each chapter; from Mimi, and Shawn, to Bo and Chloe each characters view point of Sami and Lucas is beautifully done by the author.
