Why This Must Be Read: Author's Summary: Nancy and Ned's relationship changes when Ned is drafted and sent to fight in World War II. I love this story so much. It is a very well written, novel length story that will tug at your heartstrings but leave you ultimately satisfied. I love the way the author weaves Ned and Nancy's letters throughout the narrative it adds so much depth and lets the reader feel the longing these two have for each other. I am not doing this beautiful story justice, go read it and you will love it!
