Why This Must Be Read: Finally read this from this year's batch of
het_bigbang fics and it's beautiful. Remember that painful episode where that thing happens to Jo? So circa season 7, Dean gets sent back in time to fix that thing and save her. Not only is it awesome to see Dean trying to navigate the past with his future knowledge, it's beautiful to see him struggle with his feelings for Jo. It's full of perfect little details, aches and feels, firece stubbornness (it has to be with Dean and Jo, right?), flawless character voices, and some earned, wonderful smut that'll leave you breathless. ;D
