A Lady Of Value by einvine
Fandom: Agent Carter
Pairing: Peggy Carter/Daniel Sousa
Title: A Lady of Value

Rating/Warning(s): general audiences
Word Count/WIP?: 63006, WIP (15 chapters in!)

Special Rec 2 of 30

Why This Must Be Read: This story re-imagines Peggy and Daniel in regency era, complete with Austen-esque balls, courtship, fake relationships, and Daniel as a hero from another war. I’m not much for WIPs, and I don’t have A Thing for Regency fics like so many others do. But I think the characterization is spot-on, and einvine tells Peggy and Daniel in this different environment so. Damn. well.

I think your formatting on LJ is still a little weird!

Try this:

1) Edit the post.
2) Click the tab that says "HTML" instead of "Visual Editor"
3) Delete everything that's there (you can see all the html that's giving you the weird formatting by using this tab).
4) Re-paste your rec on the HTML tab. (This assumes you have the html you need in your rec already, like <b> to make everything bold?)
5) Save

...aaaaand, hopefully, success?

If that doesn't work, no worries, we'll figure it out!

LJ is a ridiculous and absurd little corner of the internet, and yet here we all are.

I'm not a fan of WIPs either and decided to check out the first part of the first chapter just to see if I wanted to subscribe to the story (so I could read it once it was finished). The next thing I knew, I'd finished the 18th chapter.

I'm so happy you recced this, because you're right; it's FANTASTIC! It's well written and well researched, and I've come to really enjoy the author Eienvine through the comments sections.

Thanks so much for sharing this story.
